Roadtrippin, by the Red Hot Chili Peppers

American alt-music band Red Hot Chill Peppers formed in LA in 1983.

It announced its arrival as a super group 1991 with the critically acclaimed album, Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

Eight years later, in 1999, they released Californication. which included the song, "Road Trippin".

According to Wikipedia, the Road Trippin single was released only in Europe and:

"a music video [below] was also made but never released in the United States until the band released their Greatest Hits album in 2003. Two
different singles were released in 2000, the first in Europe, the second in the UK.

The song tells of a road trip in which lead singer Anthony Kiedis, guitarist John Frusciante and bassist Flea surfed at Big Sur following John's return to the band."

With the following opening lines it quickly became a road trip classic:

Road trippin' with my two favorite allies
Fully loaded we got snacks and supplies...
